Neighbourhood Watch is one of the most important and effective ways of preventing crime and helping communities feel safe and secure. Heron Island has its own Neighbourhood Watch scheme for residents.
What is Neighbourhood Watch?
Neighbourhood Watch brings communities together and encourages people to look out for one another. As part of HIRA, our Neighbourhood Watch:
- Shares crime prevention information and local alerts
- Encourages residents to report suspicious activity
- Works with Thames Valley Police to keep our community safe
- Sends out alerts about local scams and incidents
How to Get Involved
Owner Members of HIRA automatically have access to Neighbourhood Watch information. To become a member, see Your Residents Association.
To report suspicious activity, always call 999 in an emergency, or 101 for non-urgent matters.
